Jacqueline Bekker

Jacqueline was born in South Africa and moved to Zimbabwe at the age of 3 where she spent most of her life.
From 1985 until 1990 she studied painting at the Peter Birch School of Art. From 1990 until 1995 she painted wildlife, and from 1995 until 2001 she attended the University of South Africa during which time she moved to England where she completed a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Northbrook College in Worthing. During this time, she attended Stout University in Wisconsin, America as an exchange student.
Jacqueline has exhibited work internationally at The Swiss Art Fair, the Florence Biennale, the Da Vinci in Italy, and an Art Expo at the Louvre in Paris, France, as well as many smaller exhibitions in Europe.
Jacqueline’s subject when studying was ‘Process and the Alchemy of Art’ in which she experimented with many different processes, techniques, substances, and styles.
